Una rigida e ingombrante canna teleregolabile da dieci metri appoggia la mia esca, con una precisione da cecchino, nel gorgo dove presumibilmente staziona il salmonide. La corona, una ventina di pallini di piombo distribuiti su un metro di lenza, manovrata sotto la punta della canna, si insinua nelle correnti sostenute e raggiunge la tana. La mano sinistra tende la lenza per sentire le tocche anche più delicate e capire quando è il momento di ferrare.
